Mount Maunganui local Nicky Robertson brings a wealth of hairdressing experience to her own business. She’s worked in London, Sydney and New Zealand, in large scale, leading salon groups. She’s managed a team of eight hairdressers in Wellington and led a staff of 24 hair stylists in Sydney.
Her vision for en jay was to bring the knowledge and experience of working in cutting edge salons and big cities back home to her local community. en jay is a stylish, popular salon and Nicky and her team of stylists are much in demand. Nicky is Redken Colour certified and has a strong belief in investing in education for all the en jay team. “I believe in creating an exceptional experience for every client who visits en jay and we can only achieve this if we continue our education, learn new skills, techniques and keep up with trends. That’s how we continually evolve.” |

Hairdressing has been a passion of Codey's from a young age.
She loves making people feel confident and beautiful. She believes healthy/strong hair is important and strives to keep it a priority. Codey is a mum to two wonderful little boys Hunter and Nikau who keep her super busy out of work hours, they enjoy plenty of family time and the outdoors. "Hair is every woman’s crown, and we're all queens” states Codey. |

Jemma is very passionate about hairdressing and enjoys having a job that she loves.
She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and loves making her clients look, and feel good about themselves. When Jemma isn't in the salon you can find her making memories with her beautiful son or find her head in a good book. Gaby has always loved hairdressing. She loves seeing people smile through the process of a hair appointment.
Gaby started studying hairdressing at Polytech at the start of 2021, and has been enjoying the company of other people who are studying with her. She is finding that each day her confidence is growing and loves learning something new everyday. Gaby started working at en jay in April of 2021 and is loving the environment of working with the en jay team and working around clients. |
